Our friends at twitney have put together a great film about Riverside, taken from the 2010 Festival. Click on the logo to see it now.
Riverside photographer, David Murphy (no not the same one that writes those 'reviews') created a brilliant timelapse video of the building of the main stage.
Tim Bearder and Dave Gilyeat presented their popular BBC Introducing show live from Riverside on Saturday 19th June 2010. The program has been dropped from iPlayer now, but we hope to have it back up to listen to from here soon.
Here's what Tim had to say about Riverside:
‘Incredible festival at the weekend! I came and did the show from there on Saturday and was blown away by the quality of the event'
‘It was really nice to see those great local bands on the main stage. The line-up on Saturday; Charlie Coombes, The Family Machine and ending with Borderville made for a show that many bigger festivals ought to have been seriously envious of.'
‘Please pass on my congratulations to everyone involved it is an amazing example of some genuinely altruistic community spirit.’
Tim Bearder, BBC Radio Oxford
